![]() "Cast" is a usual mechanic for WoW, a skill only occurs or fires if the you reach the end of the cast timer without interruption. "Prepare" is an inherent cast delay which always occurs if you trigger a skill - and which cannot be cancelled more often than not they are used to sync animations actual effects of skill they are usually <1 sec long. Properties ( "Cooldown`s" ofc also exist but their use and function is very clear ) I know alot about the Sc2 Editor and I`d wager that the mechanics are very similar Well unlike wow many skills have a specific "delay" properties However i think its unlikely that different skills share the same cooldowns unless its explicitly written in the tooltips. EDIT: olol : you are referring to shared cooldowns and i wrote an essay about global cooldowns.
